When shopping becomes a necessity, when it is impossible to control the impulse and when, in addition, this action causes feelings of guilt, shame, irritability and even serious financial problems, we are facing an addiction. Socio-addictions are on the rise: addiction to mobile phones, the Internet and shopping are the most frequent and are growing at the same time. They do it in dimensions that, according to psychological experts, are beginning to be worrying, shopping addiction is considered a disease despite the fact that it is not officially labeled as such. In any case, "it is a behavioral disorder that is usually just 'the tip of the iceberg' of a situation that hides high doses of depression and low self-esteem."
